PITTSBURGH (11/17/2004) - On November 17, 2004, approximately 50 preschoolers, their teachers and parent volunteers went to Phipps Conservatory to take part in "The Great Kapok Tree." While there, the children took a tour of Phipps, viewing different plants from various countries. They also were read the story, "The Great Kapok Tree" and learned about animals and plants that thrive in the rainforest. Thanks to "Tickets for Kids" for providing the admission into the program!
