Holidays at 4 Kids
PITTSBURGH (11/26/2003) -
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. . . and Hanukkah, and Ramadan, and Kwanzaa.
4 Kids celebrates a variety of winter holidays each year, and learns about customs and traditions from around the world.
Our hallways are decorated with snowflakes, as well as a tree with ornaments created by the children. Each classroom is learning about a certain country, and is making decorations based on their traditions.
The children are planning on going caroling again this year. In addition to visiting hospital patients, the children will be visiting Heritage Health Foundation for singing and snacks.
We will also be holding our 2nd annual Musical Holiday Celebration. Children and their families will be entertained by staff and their families with carols and instrumental performances. Staff will also be making favorite holiday dishes to be enjoyed by all.
